Since I discovered Ho’oponopono works really well with tapping, it was just a short step to creating a tapping script cue card.

I belong to a group of EFTers who meet on a weekly basis at EFT Atlantic (EFT Atlantic Facebook Group). Today the founder and owner Al Rodee started a new video series called 8for8. 8 inspirational minutes to start the week.

This week’s theme is Ho’oponopono

Here is the script for the Not Perfectly Happy Yet tapping sequence and the Ho’oponopono Mantra.

Ho’oponopono is Hawaiian and means:
ho’o = to cause
ponopono = perfection
ho’oponopono = to make right, to rectify an error

So what is Ho’oponopono?

Ho’oponopono is like a light switch. Thank you, I love you are the delete keys.

I first heard about it online in a newsgroup some time ago about a Doctor in Hawaii (Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD) who healed a whole ward of criminally insane patients, but recently Ho’oponopono just keeps on popping up over and over. I take this to mean that if it is in my energy field there is a message there for me.

“We’re either killing ourselves or nurturing. There is no in-between.”
~IHaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D.

That’s when I decided to do some research and this is what I found on Wikpedia.

It seems that Ho’oponopono in its present form is a derivation or update of an ancient Hawaiian kahuna practice. “Today’s form is called Self I-dentity through Ho’oponopono (SITH) and was developed by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, a Hawaiian Kahuna (= keeper of the secret) Lapa’au (= healing). She was recognized by the State of Hawaii as a Living Treasure in 1983.” ~http://www.hooponopono.org/index.htm

This video gives a the story about Dr. Hew Len’s work at the mental hospital.

“Ho’oponopono tells us that we are 100% responsible for what happens in our life. As we heal ourselves, we heal us and the world around us.” The problem is never with the other person but always with us.

According to the ancient Hawaiians, errors arise from thoughts that are tainted by painful memories from the past. Ho’oponopono offers a way to release the energy of these painful thoughts, or errors, which cause imbalance and disease.

“Ho’oponopono views every problem as an opportunity to clean the memories that are replaying.”

The Ho’oponopono mantra is:

The following is an excerpt from http://www.hooponopono.org/article5.htm:

You don’t have to actually say that out loud to them, and you don’t even have to understand the problem.

That’s the beauty of this. You don’t have to understand. It’s like the Internet. You don’t
understand all this! You just go to the Divinity and you say, “Can we download?” and the Divinity
downloads, and then you get the necessary information. But because we don’t know who we are, we never download direct from the Light. We go outside.

“It’s an inside job.” If you want to be successful, it’s an inside job. Work on yourself!”
