Saint John, NB

After 7 years of living in Halifax, we returned to Saint John, NB for the 60th wedding anniversary of my husbands uncle. It was strange returning to the city as a tourist. Also this time I have a digital camera. I didn't have much free time, but managed to get these shots in.

The Saint John City Market is one of the oldest in Canada. The tides on the Bay of Fundy are one of the highest in the world and I just happened to catch them at both end of the extreme. Saint John is also famous for the Reversing Falls, as depending on the tide the river either flows down into the ocean or back upstream.
