Vertical Calendar

In the fall I came across this calendar design on the Canon website.

26/07 2008

Vertical Calendar 1 Page

After looking at my 2 page vertical calendar for a few months, I decided that if would be more convenient to have it all on one page. The following design is based on the 2 page design, but condensed onto one page.

  • Download the 1 page 2009 vertical calendar MS Publisher template
  • Download the 1 page 2009 vertical calendar as a PDF file and print it at 100%
  • Download the 1 page vertical calendar MS Publisher template for 2008
  • Download the 1 page vertical calendar for 2008 as a PDF file and print it at 100%

Vertical 2 Page Calendar

I liked the idea but not the pictures and design. So I set out to create my own with MS Publisher. This is my result.

  • Adding pictures or quotes between the months lets you personalize the calendar nicely.
  • I found that including the folding lines into the design made it easier to score the folds and the fold them for gluing.
  • I also found that it was easiest to glue the calendar with double sided sticky tape, as glue tended to warp the paper and my glue sticks had all dried up.
  • Download the MS Publisher template for the 2007 calendar and change to year you want. (I will not create current version of this template).

I enjoy making your dodecahedrons, and seeing your other creations! I have been searching for a template for a horizontal calendar (12 months) to place across the top of my computer. I have one that was sent to me by a realtor years ago, witih her ad on it. But I can't figure out how to make my own. For my purposes, the dimensions would be no larger than 16" x 1.5". Do you know of such a template - or can you make one? Thanks!
