I made a few more beaded necklaces and have added them to the store. Some are made with larger beaded metal washers and others are made with a variety of beads. They make the perfect mother's day gift. Check them out

The headline for May tells us to take care of others. Timing is right to make changes in our domestic scenes: getting married, having a baby, teaching and helping others. Family comes first and with it home repairs. We are sure of our opinions and views and tend to dig in our heels and become stubborn which can lead to conflicts. On April 19/08 the first British and Italian crop circles appeared. Never one to pass up an opportunity to do some coloring of black and white diagrams, I got set to experiment with different coloring techniques.

I finally manged to finish putting together the last of the pictures I took last year of the Aliant junction boxes. I will try to get some more pictures this year.

I like the look of HDR photos, but with my point and shoot camera I have not quite figured out how to alter the setting to create HDR look. So when I recently came across a tutorial to create the HDR look with a Photoshop action I just had to give it a try. I am very pleased with the results. Have a look

With April being a 5 universal month we sure have to be ready for the unexpected. Surprises and changes will show up when we least expect it. It is time to pay attention to our legal commitments and staying flexible so that we can move or take a trip on short notice. Using small crayon stubs, a batik waxmelter tool and CDs as canvas lead me to create these unique pictures. I like to experiment with things and if that leads me to use up leftovers it is even better. All those crayon stubs are leftover from my 3 grown kid's school years. This is my first attempt in melting the crayons to paint with them and I will keep on experimenting with using them on designs drawn onto the CDs

The pattern called them fingerless computer gloves, but they could just as well be called hand warmers. They turned out to be ideal for my hubby who has arthritis and suffers from cold fingers that are hard to warm up. Now when he feels them getting cold he puts on the gloves and his fingers warm right up. He is very pleased and he can even play guitar with them. It took me only half an hour to knit one glove and it was easy to work on them while watching TV.
